Any reviews or info on the new Lift Vario wings? They’ve been out for a few weeks, it seems like. Really curious!

got a podcast coming out in a few days to wrap up a surf foil test. The vario was included. not in the test but in conversation. so you will be able to filter through that!!

I’ve had a couple hours behind the wake boat now on a 120 vario beta and a 150 vario. I like them both a lot! The 150 pumps well and turns well for its size. The 120 vario beta is a lower AR version and I feel it’s turns like the 150 surf v2 but glides better. Both are easy to ride and IMO much more versatile than the havoc series.
Should have it out for a go in pumping conditions Tuesday. The Grubb 16 tail looks sick too. Really looking forward to getting it on the water.

Got the first session on it. 40 miles of parawing DW/UW at Rufus in 35 gusting to 45 knots. I preferred the 16 grub over the 20 carve.
Super fun kit. Will need time to do a full review but stall speed, glide, pump, roll, breaches, riding speed, everything felt really nice. By the end of the session I was super curious about the Vario 90.
Only thing I need to sort out is rear leg management. Carving felt super powerful with deeeeeeep powder snowboard vibes that were absolutely blowing up my rear leg.

I’ve been using a 150 vario for the last few weeks behind the boat and surf foiling. I’m not good enough to critique its turning ability yet but it glides good and I can pump back out and connect longer period waves which is saying a lot since I’ve only been successfully surf foiling a few times. It’s super smooth pitch wise, by far the easiest wing I have for taking off late prone. Half the time I don’t even realize I’m on foil by time I get to my feet. I’m 185lbs dry and feel the low end is good too.
I also have the 120 vario beta. It doesn’t pump as well (but again I’m a beginner pumper) but it turns and glides great and gets onto foil much earlier and smoother than my 121 havoc behind the boat. I’d imagine the 120 vario (non beta) is awesome.

interested to hear the conversation on this esepcialy the 150, i loved my 150 especially the carve and flow tails, but moved to code because of the efficiency, but do miss my lift tails.

Had another go on it yesterday. Parawinging light winds. Slid the mast forward about 1.5cm (vs AFS) and it was perfect. Fell in love with it on this session. Next few days should provide enough wind to get a few hundred miles on it so I can do a legit review. If anyone has specific questions LMK and I’ll try to address it in the review.

Got my 120 / 150 this week. Had a parawing session on the 150 in light wind and rode the 120 back to back with the 120 ha behind the boat.
Overall the vario feels very familiar, similar pump and glide. But the turning feels a bit more smooth (they don’t get locked in a turn) and they breach tips wayy better than the HAs. Pretty stoked on how they feel.
