No leash on tow board?

I bought an Amundsen tow board. I really like it but realized it doesn’t have a leash plug. I have not done much tow foil. More tow surf and step offs where leashes are often not used.

I assume that’s also the case with tow foil? I do prefer a leash but is no leash more common? TIA.

No need for one when towing. You shouldn’t be around any people and it’s a hindrance for getting on/off the ski quickly.
