Has anyone foiled down at Pavones in Costa Rica? Im headed down there on a surf trip in a few weeks and wanted to see if it would be worth bringing my foil setup with me.
Haven’t foiled it but no question you must bring your foil gear!
There is a wave farther down the point called pilon which is mushier and less crowded, that would be the spot if you can find a more isolated area there.
I’m a big believer in staying far out of lineups with a foil unless it’s microscopic so we don’t get banned

I agree with giving everyone else space.
I went down to Pavones about 10 years ago but back then i had no perception of foil potential.
