Are there any good prone foil spots in Central America during winter time? Trying to escape the cold and get some prone foiling in on a sandy point break. Basically searching for the La Ventana of prone foiling. Nosara in Costa Rica seems like a potential spot, since I have seen that guy’s sup foil instruction videos there.

I think the points are where it’s at in CR. Nosara, specifically Guiones is a decent foil wave, but it’s so crowded that it might be touch to navigate. Small barranaca would be a dream. There’s also some guys foiling up in the Tamarindo area, but I haven’t done it.
