Driving up to Beaufort on Thursday and looking to break up the drive with maybe a prone or wing session along the way. Any recommendations on prone-friendly or wing-friendly spots between Wilmington and Beaufort?
I went to college down at Wilmington. I can’t say much to winging because it wasn’t around at the time but wrightsville beach is still one of my favor places to kite Iv ever been to. South end of wrightsville beach right up against the jetty is where everyone kites and now wings I imagine. The big long jetty blocks all the wind chop and makes nice clean waves whenever there is a good south wind. Which is pretty much their predominant wind direction.
