I’ve heard a few mentions from a few brands about DW foils for bigger guys and/or for smaller swell, like lakes, bays, etc.
It sounds like the brands are thinking there’s an opportunity with the windsports spots all over Europe and elsewhere. Lots of wind, lots of people who would be keen if it becomes accessible enough, but no proper swell.
