PS - someone should sell me their unwanted 75 Katana 
Agreed they’re pretty draggy when you’re low on the mast. With the taper they feel pretty fast when I can stay high.
I ride the 83 almost all the time. I find the length great. I am struggling to adapt back to the 75 coming from riding 80/85cm masts on my last couple of setups.

I didn’t mean that it’s more draggy than Cedrus. Even when I’m low on the mast it still feels less draggy than Cedrus (although not a huge difference). I just meant those were my reference points. The ramp up in drag still feels linear, but the ramp is steeper than other masts that I know, including Cedrus.

Curious what the issue is with axis hm. We all know it’s a very stiff mast.
Lift/Armie/Fone is all i have compared to. If im super high on the mast its really fast, but I cant hold that all the time when carving hard. I think i’d rather a more consistent feel across the entire length. I also notice it when im going fast in bigger surf… feels even slower
