any reccos for heavy duty ziplock or silicone stasher bags big enough to keep spare wang dry in bottom of stash pouch? rolltop drybags too bulky. supermarket L size not large enough fit bar inside
Release valve on the bottom. I’ve been running this with my venstana pouch, holding an extra.

Yeah, 8L works great.
For those who use the drybags - could you just store the sail in the bag, run the lines through the opening and keep the bar outside of the bag? Think it would stay waterproof (I’m sure it would with a few lines, but maybe not with a full bridle set)? Might be an easy way to use a smaller bag and keep things more compact. If nobody has tried and tells me otherwise, I might give it a go.

could drop down to a 4L rolltop for small wang
I had also bought the 4L version and just tried it with my 4 and 5.3M BRM S3. They would both fit, but not allow enough rolls on the top to make it air tight. Trying the bar out had the same effect. The compression feature is wasted if it can’t be completely air tight.

Seatosummit 20L drybag is very thin material and fits my 4.2m Parawing easily. Seems pretty durable
FWIW the Osprey ultralight dry bag seems to always have some moisture on the inside. Using the 6l.
I just bought this one. Price was right, fits well and the vent is nice, but the fabric is quite thin. Seems perfect for a sail (its intended use), but I wouldnt trust it for a phone or anything like that and TBD how long it will hold up. Will report back after use.

Have been using this “dry bag” a lot recently. The good news is that it packs the sail down really small, stuffs into my Kaohi / Venstrata belt with room for a second sail, and it keeps the sails separated so that they don’t get tangled together in the pouch. I also like that it has a D ring, and I use a small carabiner to clip it into the pouch so that it doesn’t get accidentally ejected.
The bad news is that it isn’t really dry. I think water finds its way in through the top closure, but it could also be the vent, but somehow a small amount of water always gets in there. It can also be difficult to really squeeze all the air out of it when I swap sails in the water.
Definitely better than packing the second sail in there without a bag, and I will keep using it, but its not perfect and if your goal is for the sail to remain dry then this might not be the one.
