Armstrong MA on Cedrus classic carbon

I Recently picked up a Armstrong adapter and MA1225 wing for the Cedrus clysdale. I have been winging the Phantasm 926 for a couple years now and wanted to switch over to Armstrong as my phantasm adapter is now phased out with the new one-lock system.

I took out the MA 1225 yesterday and it felt like I had to have my back foot right at the back of the board to get any lift. I was running it with the 232 stabilizer (chopped), I’m riding an Appletree v1 board, 105kg and using it for winging. I had the mast all the way forward in the track with no shim, then added a blue shim and it still felt very slow and draggy, but also twitchy and almost unrideable. Has anyone else had this experience?

Wondering what are my options as I’m already at the front of the track and I believe adding a red shim will require the mast further forward? Is it a mast angle issue? Any thoughts??

Try adding a base plate shim with no tail shims first.

Thick end to the back.
