FLITELab* what are your thoughts

That raw board has also been to hell(against the cliffs at Ulu) and back and is still solid.

I have been waiting for the raw boards to become available. Hopefully the production model is as stout as the proto.

The fan factor is strong with this one.

Saw they’re doing demos at nsb. Anyone on here going there to try them out? I’m very interested in the amp board. Can’t wait to hear some non-biased reviews of it.

Yep I had come to this conclusion too. His riding was faster I think back in the f0ne gear.

A heap of new info here…

any idea who the person is? I trust no one

(especially when the tingles start)

I wish I got free stuff from Flite/lab!
I run my own service based business that has nothing to do with foiling or selling things. I like my fun to stay fun and not have ties to work.
I know Chris from when he lived near me, we met when we both started foiling down here & stayed friends after he moved north. I rode his initial prototype that he made in his garage.
So there is no affiliation, just a good friend who invented something pretty rad & invited me up for some pre-release fun. Special time.
i’ll be queueing online to buy one like everyone else come release day

Yes, the problem with podcasts on video is you need to keep the app open to listen which is annoying. Idk if there’s a setting, but I’m not walking around for two hours with my screen active and reacting to every touch. Sorry, but true.

Or did he stop subtly speeding his vids up?

The audio is on Spotify.

Most of our audience is on Spotify and apple.
You tube is just an added platform we use.
But most people listen to it here actually

With Youtube Premium, it allows you to close the screen and keep audio playing. And no adds. Worth it in my opinion.

Rumors of a FLITELab* demo next week in Southern CA. San O possibly.

We’ll get to see how the jet handles the grass and kelp!

Did they make everyone sign a NDA? Confusing there is no talk of the meet and greet.

I attended the meet and greet in NSB. Waves were very small with a lot of wind chop. Most of the demo foils were out being used. I believe they only had one of the amp boards for demo and watched Adam riding it while I was out. Not ideal conditions. Board and foils look great but I didn’t get a chance to try one out. This is probably the reason you cannot get any feedback from the demo in Florida.

Been watching the surfline cam of Eric G and Adam out here in CA today. The foils definitely work! I feel bad for the normal foilers out. The contrast between them vs the pro’s is stark!

OK from people who are better than me and rode the foils themselves. The foils are good. They are what you think they are. Surf foils that build on the foils MisterBennetts has always liked. The whole system is really well designed. The mast is good. The boards are good.

Basically nothing bad to be said about them. For sure surf foils though and not HA foils in regards to pumping. Watching the cam I was so refreshed to see waves being surfed hard to the end and then half pumps back out or paddling back out.

The Jet boards were mostly for the Flite dealers, so while guys I know saw them, they didn’t really get to ride them.

alright Sterling Spencer calm down

(in all honesty, I agree with this as the way forward, I’m going small foil that I can’t really pump and just surfing waves, otherwise I go very big and pump around instead of going for a run)

Report from a 90 odd kg friend was that the 707 pumped amazing. Perfect size for him was the report and he will be ordering one.
