Hi all, our kids are a decent age, and I’ve always wanted to live in a Spanish speaking place long enough to get conversational. So we are thinking about living abroad for a bit. But I wonder about places that also have at least one nice foil spot. How is Puerto Rico? We love Mexico too, Costa Rica is great as well but I know nothing about where to foil…. Here in Maine I’ve been learning at shallow beach breaks, and it would be amazing to spend time at a proper break with a deep channel.
Spent some time around puerto vallarta last fall and found punta de mita to be decent for foiling. It’s a bit rocky though and water isn’t always clear enough to tell where the rocks are.
