I’m using “apex” to mean a foil, or range more realistically, one will not grow out of. Many of these foils are described as “forgiving”, and I realize that is meant to be a relative description, but it SEEMS like my k2 1400 would work as a learning foil with a big stab. And I heard somewhere, that I forget, that the newer thinking for teaching is to use a little smaller/faster foils than the 2000+ foils of yore, since that makes it easier to avoid landing on the board/foil when tacoing. So has anyone taught a new foiler on any of the latest and greatest surf foils? Pp200; k2; armieHA; fone; etc…?
