Mast upgrades for an intermediate(Unifoil No limitz)

I have a choice No limitz V2 78 (Unifoil) or Prog 800 mast, same price, same condition, both second hand.

I’m about 85kg, intermediate prone (linking waves and turning in waist to shoulder high waves), advanced winger and just starting my dw sup journey. I spend my time pretty equally between all disciplines and am trying my hardest to have less gear.

I wing anything from a 140 to a hyper 210 and prone on a 200/170 prog cause I like life to be easy.

What mast should I go for? I really am 50/50 and need some help

NL V2 for the speed and glide, no hesitation.

Remember NoLimitz’s new policy on large span wings though…

Yeah, riding big wings I’d lean towards the Progression. The NL might grant your wish of less gear…

Without a doubt, the stiffest mast is best for prone and DW

I used to have 85cm no limitz v1 and it felt relative to katana very lively and peppy. really enjoyed it. rode hyper 210 with it no problems. So i would lean in favor of nolimitz

Tough call. Been on both and they’re both great for separate reasons. I would be torn

For me that target length is the deciding factor and while it seems minor, for prone, those 2cm matter. Are you coming off an 80cm rig and happy with it, get the 800. Are you coming off a 75? - get the 78. I found 80 to be too long for me and now I’m on a 77 and that inch somehow matters! Also double check how each are actually measured. Is it from the bottom of the plate to the top of the fuse(I think both are measure that way but check) or plate to bottom of the connection(like code) effectively making the mast shorter
