New Cabrinha x Mike’s Lab Union Foils - who has some info?

Let’s hear about it, please

from ML group:

“What’s different here is Cabrinha isn’t just making another copy, we’re giving credit where it’s due and bringing their connection systems DNA into a broader market. For Mikeslab riders, it’s about seeing their gear’s influence properly recognized. For Cabrinha riders, it’s a chance to ride a system built on Mikeslabs platform, not an imitation.

As for compatibility is concerned- We decided to go for a slightly thicker connection which could accommodate M8’s. This allowed us to reduce the screws down to just 2 x M8’s. So while it won’t be compatible with Mikeslab foils, it’s a very convenient assembly.”

good call switching up the screws, Mike’s Lab’s imperial mish mash of screws is meh

Looks great

Kind of bummed its only the connection point and not a mass produced wing setup more affordable.

Buying ML foil for the fuse connection is like buying an Appletree board for the leash plug.

Is the connection on ML that much better than code?

It looks more like duotone? Slimmer fuse than code I think

Hoping it’s got some ML magic in the foils as well as the connection system.

Looking forward to seeing and trying these foils! I have Cab foils now and they’re great: awesome speed range and intuitive. Hoping this new system and the foil designs build on what’s good while improving stiffness and efficiency. Its been years since their last launch, so I’m expecting serious upgrades. Gimme!

I demo’d the 905 in Hood on a nuking day at the Hatch during June. Was Parawinging all month. I did a couple of laps at the hatch and got on some nice sized bumps. Not a full sesh, but it felt super solid and fast. More control vs my 150 HA X, which may be due to a shorter wingspan for the 905. Overall, felt user friendly. Waiting for the October release.
