will the new KT mast and foils (Solace) all be compatible with the current range? Especially mast to fuze connection?
The fuse is still the same so yes.

Doesn’t look awesome. I went straight to a One Ocean mast with stringy adapter after hearing the KT masts weren’t as good as the rest of the kit.

That actually is a normal test of torsional stiffness of the mast. I always keep an eye on this. Generally, the higher the frequency of the vibration, that means the stiffness is higher. Pretty quick to assess. Keep in mind though it isn’t really related at all to side-to-side stiffness. But parameters are important in different ways

Yes, I have the new Mast and it fits all the new stuff (Solus) and the older gear. The new mast turns much better, is looser and fast as hell when you are riding high. Really nice upgrade.

The adapter is quite chunky but the mast itself is fantastic. Thin, stiff and a crazy price - can’t go wrong.
Just to be clear - the higher frecuency bouncing means the mast is stiffer?
In my case, I have the same mast, watching this video I tested the same way and I didn’t got the same result, mine stopped vibrating right away, perhaps this is a one case to be looked up by the brand? My test was with the 56 fuse - 700 Nomad.
Instead of an adapter, Stringy can make you the entire fuselage so it’s streamlined

That would be amazing but not cheap I’d imagine. Would definitely look into it if I was to do it again.
For the record I noticed it first with the Nomad 980, 63, and 155 tail. I just took the video after a downwind attempt
The higher the moment of inertia the more it will wiggle and the lower the frequency. Any mast will do it with a large and heavy enough wing and fuselage mounted.

So shorter fuse and wingspan will reduce this?
I’m actually having this same issue with a HM mast from another brand, but indeed it’s a way longer fuse and wingspan than my KT nomad/fuse56 setup which doesn’t show this same behavior.
