I recently got a Takuma carbon mast (newer one not T-bar) and noticed it has significantly more lift compared to the OG 3 bolt aluminum mast. Unfortunately don’t have my old aluminum mast to compare angles, so was wondering if anyone has any insight on how I should tune my setup to make it the same as the old aluminum mast which was magic. I’m riding the kujira I front wings and 178 tail.
I’m pretty sure it’s the V2 Takuma fuselage, not the mast, creating the angle. Regardless, I use a 2° shim with my Cedrus mast, and that gets it quite flat. That said, maybe there is yet another variable in the Takuma “system”. Wonderful front foils though.
Yep, angle was built to the fuse & from memory around 1 degree.
