I haven’t tried it, but from the size I would say, depending on the waves you want to surf and how easy you want to be able to connect waves, I’d go for a larger size, the 1200. With that weigth you’re probably be able to surf it until chest high without any problem and for sure will pump it easier. There’s always time to go for smaller with more experience

I surf Florida which was small. Unpopular opinion, but I was on a 1400sqcm wing until I could link 4 waves. Gave me opportunities to make mistakes and keep going. I was up on foil more and progressed faster. Everyone thought I was crazy.
Thigh-high range, I would say a progression 200 would be great for a heavier person to learn

I have this foil and am just under your weight (80kg). It’s a great kit, not designed to go fast and very forgiving. Don’t pay full retail, lot’s of deals available used and new!
