Unifoil hyper2 210 for downwind

I’ve got a Unifoil Hyper2 210 sitting in my garage collecting dust, never even used it. Once the wind picks up again, I’ll be doing some parawing downwind runs.

Just curious, does anyone actually prefer the H2 210 for downwind over the P170 or P200? I know the Hyper2 is a fast wing for its size and a totally different style compared to the Progressions, but I figured I’d ask. Thanks!

I can only speak in terms of Hyper1 210 and progression 140. Its totally different - main takes are:

Cruising on lakes downwinders or fresh ocean bumps are much easier on the 210, as you stay with the bump. Lower stall speeds for slower swell.

Main advantage for 140 is the extra glide and speed. Plus pumps amazing still. But little higher stall speed so you have to keep moving around or doing turns. Progressions do give waaay more lift when doing turns so if you wana surf and go hard. Take the progression. For cruising or slower surfing take the hyper.

How did it go?
