AFS Enduro - Yet another whale style wing

@AFoiler1 Other commented that it would not be comparing apples to apples which is correct.
The Atlas is more comparable and I did have some time on that foil as well.

I have a different take on that though. I think the Nomad is much more versatile foil than the
Atlas, kind of a daily driver one foil quiver. Light wind to crazy nuking. Surf, Wing, Downwind does it all great. For certain downwind conditions I would actually rather have the Nomad than the Atlas.

When it comes to conditions that I would like more fine-tuned experience than what the Nomad
could provide this is where I would go with the Enduro rather than the Atlas.

In conditions where take-off speed and stall speed are not an issue I would choose the Enduro 700. This foil just goes through the water so smoothly even in rough conditions. I never felt any nervousness even going at high speed in these conditions.

Every other foil I tried required certain level of concentration to manage flight in these conditions.
I found it more pitch stable and stable in general right out of the box no shims no tweaks.
No fine-tuning required. it just works and the feeling was amazing.

Build Quality it’s not even a close match. AFS must be the pound for pound contender if not king in the industry. This system screams quality. Very light and durable for such a thin foil.

The AFS UHM mast is state of the art. I can’t believe any other system will outperform this
mast in any meaningful way, certainly not KT current mast, they will come out with their own UHM mast eventually but I would not expect it to be better.

The one thing that KT is hand down better is their cases, not expensive looking but very
well put together and it show that some thought went into it. AFS needs to re-work their case system which is flimsy and cheap looking. Not a great way to present such a high quality foil system.

One of the reasons I ride the Cedrus mast is that I don’t have to ride only one system.
I’m thinking of keeping the Nomad for everyday foiling and take the E700 out when the conditions calls for it.

Waiting on an AFS adapter for my Cedrus for back to back comparison against the UHM mast.
I’m also testing the E700 against the Lift Florence X 110 (710sqcm). Not sure which one I will
land on for “special operations” but it would not be the Atlas

Hope that helps
